What is MegaLogViewer
MegaLogViewer is an application to view and graph all Megasquirt Log files. Or any delimited file for that matter. It will graph any field in your MegaSquirt(I, II, MSnS-Extra...) log file captured by MegaTune, MegaTunix or Palm based MS-Logger. MegaLogViewer allows you to add any fields to your log files, they will automatically be detected and available for view and display, no MegalogViewer configuration changes needed.
MegaLogViewer is user friendly application, you will find it to be very stable and work as you expect with a refined feel. Now taking MegaLogViewer to the next level version 2.2 has added log file based VE table correction. VE Analysis is built on a flexible Engine that performs multiple calculations on each log record that passes filtering criteria. No special configuration changes are needed to achieve accurate results.

  • Default AFR table changes - Bins match fuel Bins, User Changes are saved!!
  • Added a "Custom Linear" Wideband O2 selection. You will be prompted for low and high AFR and voltages.
  • Wideband is no longer disabled based on O2 voltage
  • All field references are now defined in an external configuration file. Which configuration file to use is menu selectable unde the "Options" menu.
  • VE Analysis "Window Threhold" and Basic Threshold are editable in the MSGraph.properties file.

Power, performance, optimal efficiency; the objectives of almost any tuner, the key to achieving these objectives is in the data produced by your engine. To achieve these objectives you must know what your engine is asking for or it will never run its best. Captured Data logs are where a modern EFI controlled engine asks. But capturing data is only the first step; you then need simple ways to understand what that data means, what your engine is asking for. Being able to easily select, navigate and compare data fields is critical, but there is more. You want to see the whole story, not just at log traces 1 by 1 in a limited way. To get the full picture you need to see how different fields are related and affect one another, how it all ties together. You need the right tools to work with your data. Suddenly that data becomes so much easier to see and understand, you can sort through vast amounts of data in simple comprehensible views, then act on it.
